super mini-osechi

Kazunoko (herring roe) and Kuromame (sweetened black beans)
Apparently there are reasons why each dish is eaten, but I can't seem to remember them right now. The significance of the "Osechi" meal is like the Turkey at a Thanksgiving meal. It's imperative you have this on New Years day in Japan.
